Crataegus phaenopyrum - Washington Hawthorn
The Washington Hawthorn (Crataegus phaehopyrum) is one of the showiest of all the ornamental Hawthorns with its clusters of white hanging flowers and attractive shape. A native to the southeast US, it requires minimal water once established and can handle most soils. Like most other hawthorns, it is armed with spikes.
