Feijoa sellowiana - Feijoa

The Feijoa (Feijoa sellowiana) is an evergreen shrub or small tree native to the highlands of Brazil and valued for its fruit. It is quite frost tolerant however late severe frosts can kill flowers and thus no fruit. It is a worthy tree to plant in a protected location  for the fruit and for the attractive flowers. Keep the water up when fruiting for good development.
