Forsythia 'Lynwood Gold' (Forsythia x intermedia 'Lynwood Gold') is a deciduous hybrid forsythia with upright arching to spreading habit. It is a naturally occurring branch sport of F. x intermedia ‘Spectabilis’ discovered in 1935 growing in a garden called Lynwood located in Cookstown, County Throne, Northern Ireland. Best grown in moist well drained, it is however tolerant to a variety of soils, position in full sun for best flowering effect.
