The Golden Rain Tree (Laburnum x watereri 'Vossii') is a small deciduous tree grown for its masses of long pendulous yellow flowers. This cultivar produces fewer seed pods than other varieties but is non the less a stunning addition to the garden. It can be grown as a small specimen tree or trained over a structure such as a pergolas. Best grown in moist well drained soil in full sun, however does benefit from some protection from hot afternoon sun.
