Coast Live Oak (Quercus agrifolia) is an evergreen oak from California where it is common along the coast and foothills. It can grow to 30m and mature trees tend to have a broad canopy and in exceptional specimens can be broader than it is tall. It requires well drained soil and is quite drought tolerant when established.
