The Service Tree (Sorbus domestica) is a deciduous tree that is native to various regions of Europe, northeastern Africa, and southwest Asia.

This tree is primarily cultivated for its fruits, known as sorbs, which are used to make a cider-like beverage or are bletted similarly to medlars before being consumed.

However, due to its rarity, this fruit is not commonly found in Australia.
